HVAX is a pre-bid risk review pipeline for commercial electrical subcontractors, built to catch expensive scope gaps before the final number is set.
I didn't spend ten years as a commercial electrical estimator. I built HVAX by sitting down with real estimating teams, watching them manually cross-reference 900-page MEP manuals against architectural plans, and seeing how often an expensive scope gap was buried on page 40 of Addendum 3.
The problem was obvious: estimators were spending days reading boilerplate text just to find the four sentences that actually moved their price. When a $150,000 temporary power allowance conflicts between Division 1 and the electrical spec, the subcontractor is usually the one left paying for it if they don't submit an RFI in time.
Instead of overclaiming what AI can do, I partnered with pilot customers like Clark Electric to build a highly-focused pipeline. HVAX doesn't do takeoff, and it doesn't replace estimator judgment. It acts as a tireless second set of eyes that reads every page and cites the exact source of a conflict before the bid goes out.
HVAX is built, run, and supported by a single person. Here is exactly how the business is legally structured.
